I wanted to make this bag so bad,, and of course grabbed some yarn and got started right away,,,, but this was a couple months ago that i started. As you can see i still have yet to add handles, and my daughter halli is still asking for "her bag". Handles finally were made last week and are inside the bag waiting to be put on. Meanwhile since that time i have started a nubby dishcloth in this delicous cotton yarn that has many beautiful colors all blended in. Its halfway finished...But then i ran across lucy attic 24 blog and fell in love with her granny stripe pattern. I need to drop in and tell her how much i love her blog! So, as you can see there are many projects in the making, and i need to learn to finish one before starting another. Does anyone else do this same thing?
This was one of my first crochet projects as i was learning, and i am still learning. I used two yarns at once to get the double color. I love caron simply soft yarns, they are so affordable and yet soft and have such a sheen to them. I wish they came in more colors.. I am also using the caron simply soft yarns in my granny stripe. The bag turned out really heavy though by using two yarns at once, but remember this is my first challenge in crochet. SO,,, if i make this bag again i will just purchase varigated yarn and use only one at a time for that mix of color. Daughter loves it so far and is hoping it will be finished sometime this year,,lol
