I find that bright colors are cheery..

Today it is once again snowing, cold snow flurries sticking to everything... Makes me miss Florida.. I find that bright colors are cheery, and when all the bright colors are put together its the most yummy eye candy.... So i am going to once again, post more pics of the bright and cheery projects i have been working on.. As i mentioned in previous posts my granny stripe blanket and birdie ornament was from my favorite chrochet blog site, Lucy at Attic 24. If you have not followed her blog you  must... its amazing.  I love color, and her website is just that!
Did i mention i love yarn and color?  Next i s the progress on the granny stripe blanket, i have a long way to go..
The yarn i am using is Caron Simply Soft, and i never actually found a red i was happy with, but i through in  the garnet which i found was to dark and not bright enough... Maybe  I will find Caron in red next time..
Flowers are still in training here, and my very first crochet owl didnt turn out to awful, although not exactly what i wanted him to look like... Thinking about making a large crochet basket and maybe adding him to the side... but not sure yet.   Maybe the kids will help me think of the perfect project for this owl...
 
Now off for bit to learn granny squares and run errands!!!
