I love this lovie quilt with applique doxie dogs!

These doxie's headed over to etsy store yesterday, sniff sniff.. I sort of wanted to keep it but then again how many quilts can one cuddle with? The minky dot is my favorite and i love to use it in my items to add texture. The applique little weiner dogs had been setting in a plastic tote just waiting for the day to dig them out and finally the day came.. Thanks to my special friends who added them into this quilt.  We have a large household, with five kids and my husband and I. Of course you know each of these people must bring over a friend and it sorta creates a small party.. so sometimes you just have to put them to work so they really feel at home, LOL! After we all put our heads together this little quilt came together and i think it really is one of a kind sweet thing. The backside is patchwork without the ragging frilly effect, it is decorative itself so i feel maybe this blanket is reversible? Anyway, i am posting pictures in case anyone wants to see :)
I so love the minky, but the little applique embroidered dachshund dog with bones is to die for!!!!
just had to add the paw print too!
the flower print in the pics look red, but it is actually a coral color that matches with the dog print.. so pretty..
